How much time do these college kids have to go around acting like victorian house wifes.

Abel✯lied July 9, 2021 3:08 pm

I'm really hoping that this will go the nurture road, where basically it's shown that both of them could've been good adults, if they were scolded properly.

Abel✯lied July 8, 2021 6:59 pm

I wish the epilogue were longer, but that just speaks to how amazing the story was!

Abel✯lied July 7, 2021 10:43 pm

It's confirmed! Kirishima has a mind of a incel. You know, despite all the dumb shit he does, i think i like him the least in this chapter. Maybe if Shouma was in all of the chapters, so that we could compare Kirishima to an actual decent man, i wouldn't have thought so, but since Shouma is especially a king in this chapter, Kirishima drives me mad.
This is not a criticism by the way, i don't believe that Kirishima was designed to be a loveable male lead. But I'm a bit curious why he's provoking Shouma like this? It was shown in the scenes with grandpa that he's an okay person, so why does he put on this facade even when Yoshino isn't around?

    Toji's dog July 7, 2021 10:48 pm

Kirishima is a BIG incel, I hope he gets smacked around so hard he wakes up from that. I still ship Shouma and Yoshino though in my small brain-

In my theory, I feel like Kirishima is trying to rile Shouma to the point of no return. To get Yoshino to witness a side of him that she hasn't seen. But assuming those two, I'm sure she's seen everything of him. He's using his facade to annoy Shouma even more as he fights or what not. It's pretty obvious Shouma is protective of Yoshino as she's a big part of his life, romantic interest or not. So seeing her with such a shitty ass guy that does things his way and the way he does them it pisses him off more. Which Kirishima can push with this facade of his. At least, that's what I think. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Oh no! It would appear that i got a crush on a fictional heroine! Again! When will this torture end?!!?

Abel✯lied July 7, 2021 7:35 pm

Whenever a main character is, well, let's not beat around the bush, pathetic I have this feeling something bad is going to happen.

Abel✯lied July 6, 2021 6:51 pm

Everytime someone reminds me this is heading into a romantic territory i vomit a little :,)

I'll probably do the same as I did with "Beware of the brother's!" and abandon the ship when either the FL or ml catch the blushes

Same like either have a monologue about being a real family or fuck your sister, you can't have both bro

I really am starting to love to hate the blond guy!
He's so awesome! And by awesome i mean absolutely batshit crazy!
There are many tropes that come with villains, but something about "I will never accept your love and affection nor will I ever see you as an equal, but the moment you get over me, especially with someone who i consider a rival of equal standing, i will become so possessive of you that it leads to my ruin!<3" never gets old!! Go out there my boy! Fuck everything up!
God, I hate this beautiful bastard :,)

Abel✯lied July 5, 2021 8:19 pm

There's a saying "One must never place a loaded rifle on the stage if it isn't going to go off. "
So my question is..what the hell was that candy for?? I thought she'd somehow use it to help herself, but it was just wasted panels which is unfortunate.
Actually it's a bit frustrating because it's a typical cliche cheesy historical romance mixed with just enough of a proper story that you feel anticipation about what happens next, but nowhere nearly enough for that anticipation to lead somewhere. Here are just couple of examples that could've made the story more interesting if anything (imo):
1. She didn't have healing powers, she did get nearly beheaded and survived! But whoops! She can never speak again. How will our poor heroine manage in the world of cut-throat(haha) nobles, if none of them are willing to hear her out!
2. Arsene isn't actually that OP and does genuinely need help to get out of that situation! And no! Tripping and falling isn't helping anyone.
3. Arsene actually doesn't come! Or he does, but late! Our lovely heroine is now dead or so it would seem, but unexpectedly she has these dumb healing powers that remove all tention! So the knights are trying to kill her over and over again and the rage keeps building up!Now she hates Arsene even more, because she decided to put her trust in him, but it was for nothing, for were it not for her powers she'd be dead!
I don't actually know why I'm going on and on in the comment section of all these isekai manhwas when people (me included) read them for the feel good cliches and not for an interesting plot.

That candy part saved her life tbh he would’ve been late and she could have died I mean we didn’t know she had powers but yeah and what else is she supposed to say good even if she were to spit the candy into their face there were still 2 of them and one of them would’ve cut her head off but I do agree with you

    KimNaeunx July 5, 2021 9:39 pm

The candy part was to make herself feel better since she thought she was gonna die, It was also to buy time

If she wanted to get more time, she could've used some improv skills. It'd be much more interesting to see her brain in distress trying to come up with a topic that's convincing enough that the knights won't notice she's buying time. The candy was a little silly, why does the queen's knight have candy on hand. Does he always bring candy with himself when he kidnaps and murderers young women? Does he eat the cute pink candy himself when he murderers for the queen? Or maybe do they have a cute little murder tea party with the queen and all her knights just gobbling up that sugar and thinking about how to pointlessly ruin Arsene's life further.

Yeah but I think in that situation she is really smart she just couldn’t come up with anything and I’m pretty sure those people were professional anything she said wouldn’t have really been effective if it was me tho once they put the candy in I would’ve bit their hands but that’s asking for a quick death and I mean it is kind of funny tho that the assassin was holding candy on him but at the same time at least she made it out

That’s the thing. She is timid in nature. We are so used to strong brave and even sometimes cold female characters. But our main character is timid and has a hard time speaking under pressure. The first thing that came to mind was candy. It was to buy time and it was also her way of deciding whether she should make an effort to live or just to give up and die. If the ml came in time to save her she would make an effort to live. If she finished to candy and he didn’t come she would die. That was her way of deciding things.

Plus she didn’t know if he cared enough to save her in the first place. If she had used improv skills without knowing how long she would have to keep up her facade it would eventually fall through and lead to an instant death without buying almost any time for herself.

I understand the MC's personality is basically just really cowardly and for good reason - she has neither the life experience nor the mental fortitude to just shrug these kinds of events off. She might even be more timid than the average noble lady.

But I do agree with all your alternate scenarios. Those would have made the story so much more interesting! I probably like the first or second the best, I long for the actually ordinary MC.

I hope author at least limits MC's powers, maybe having poisons act faster on her, or not being able to use her healing powers on other people (more regeneration than healing) - something like that.

Abel✯lied July 5, 2021 7:59 pm

If I'm being honest i don't really like the heroine. She's boring and her only personality trait is that she isn't a bad person, which I'm fine with, she's a kid after all and they don't have really strong personalities, however everyone around her treats her as if she's this angel send from above. Her brother tells her "people say they don't like our hair color :/" and she basically replies with "that's mean! >:(" and to which they reply back ":0000, omg noone has ever said that very obvious and subjective thing before, heh, you really are different :))))". If the author pushed a little further and made her nice to the point where it's harmful towards herself and burden to others, as the result of trauma from being a literal slave, that'd be fun to read about! If she only behaved nicely, because she's deeply scared of being kicked out, that'd be fun to read about!! If the curse could only be broken once the sister is sacrificed and her brothers grown fond of her although they knew they had to use her it'd be a fun story to read about!! Instead we have the perfect victim protagonist, who's backstory only serves to make other characters pity her and doesn't actually imprint any morals or trauma on her (besides that names are valuable), who got into a position of power by simply being born i guess, surrounded by people who love and adore her without any threat of danger present. And you know what? Good for her! I'm glad that this is the life she got, but the story can't create any emotion besides "aw:)" "aw:(" and "aw>:(".
