What is up with peoples obsession with fast paced books in terms of romance?

i love slow burn i love being edged but when i wanna goon i go to those 5 chapter mindless manhwas. With plot heavy stories usually the smut just gets in the way. like stop fucking in the car and find the goddamn culprit!!!!!!
