My personal opinion :
I think is a very fucked up and toxic relationship but honestly I feel like both of them know it's not good for their health that it's a toxic relationship but okay with it. But the way top is keeping the bottom is dark is too much I mean he even (sorta/almost) manipulated the bottom into falling inlove with him but then I think after all he is a gangster that is heartless[till now cause he still doesn't have a backstory] so that's jsut his way of founding love. He was love doesn't matter how he gets it he just takes it-
And finally the uke is just too confused and fuvked up so I think he need some time for himself but even after all the time he chooses the gangster...it just his choice and I'm supporting it.

Personally, I don't think it's just toxic. It's just, it needs more development between them.
It's pretty clear that their feelings for each other is mutual. The problem is Taesung's over possessiveness and anxiety in losing Sooyung.
Taesung didn't really manipulate Sooyung to fall in love with him. Sooyung was already crushing for him since a while ago. Remember that chapter where Minhyuk assaulted Sooyung? During that time, Sooyung thought the guy touching him was Taesung. So yeah he was already crushing for Taesung since a while ago.
Now back to Taesung, he's too possessive and anxious of losing Sooyung. He's too desperate to keep his secret from Sooyung. He's trying to hard to keep Sooyung close to him and that's what always gets the best of him.
Taesung actually has already got quite a substantial backstory. It seems that in the past, Taesung wasn't this ruthless. Why? Because when Taesung in the past accidentally or was forced to kill a man, he was shakened by it. He literally asked his former friend to hug him and comfort him. He felt so guilty about it that he went to that man's funeral. This was quite a contrasting image to the now ruthless Taesung which makes you think what happened to him.
Furthermore, this was also what made him get attracted to Sooyung. Like when Sooyung brawled with him when they first met, Sooyung reminded Taesung of him in the past, struggling against the world, that stuff. This also reminded Taesung of the little dude that beat him up in highschool. It turns out Taesung and Sooyung already met before, way back in the past.
Now for Sooyung, he definitely likes Taesung and he's not that afraid of him. We've seen how tough Sooyung is. He's not afraid to punch or kick anyone, no matter how many or bigger they are than him. And yet we barely see him do that to Taesung. Sooyung is a stubborn and tough guy. That's why he can sorta keep up with Taesung.
Now Sooyung likes Taesung, not because he doesn't know better, but because Taesung successfully wooed him. Sooyung is no stranger to abusive lovers. It's for that exact reason why he finally broke up with his ex. Because Sooyung got so mad at his ex for accusing him of sleeping with other guys and so Sooyung slapped him. But then his ex suddenly went cray-cray and hit and beat Sooyung back. Sooyung was so shocked by that because his ex has never hit him before. That moment was when they truly broke up. So yes, Sooyung definitely knows better. He likes Taesung and he wants to be with Taesung.
This bring us to the last part, again, Taesung needs to stop being so over possessive and anxious over Sooyung. The both of them needs to talk with each other.
Taesung needs Sooyung in his life. Sooyung has the biggest influence and control over Taesung. Sooyung can bring out the best out of Taesung. Taesung has shown the capacity to be good and to do good. A lot of times when Taesung did or acted "good" was either because of Sooyung or it was for Sooyung.
So in conclusion, their relationship right now is pretty much mutual but needs more development. Taesung needs to stop being too possessive and anxious about Sooyung, and this can be done if they communicated and became more honest with each other. What needs to happens is for Sooyung to know Taesung's secret so that they would confront each other and finally talk.
The issue with the rival gangs as well as the mole must also need to be resolved too as these stuff is what's also disturbing their peace.
