I’m actually bothered that the blonde ended up with the boss. I know people could change and deserve second chance, but they just don’t mean to be. It make the story feel forced. I actually also don’t really like the ML, I kinda think the relationship between MC and ML is not equal. The MC need to be the one with emotional maturity and the first to reach out while the ML is always running away. It’s actually kinda depressing to read. Till the end the ML have no character development. Even the blonde have more character development than him.
Yeah, it’s actually really toxic in real life. I maybe biased, but growing up I always saw my mother crying alone in the bathroom. God forbid her to cry in front of my dad because if she do so, then my dad will be gone missing for weeks even a month. She learned to suppress her emotions and put my dad feelings over her. It takes big tolls on her. That’s why I really bothered that the author try to portray his avoidance behavior as romantic. Even till the end, author still mistaken the concept of character development with financial stability. Yes The ML finally have stable job, but his character still very one dimensional. He learned nothing about responsibility or communication. He still can’t said simple word of i am sorry which really depressing.
The beginning of the story is kinda interesting but then it suddenly turn into spineless FL with nothing in the head except for love.
