Now I feel so empty after reading this wonderful story ╥﹏╥

I was around chapter 5 when i thought of dropping this, but then I deliberated, checked the rating and the comments, and decided to keep on reading this. And I'm so freaking glad I did. This is actually a refreshing and great story. They're such a cute and wholesome couple. Hoping for more

I've read this manga before when it was only around 10 chapters, and just a day ago I watched the anime. Today, I decided to read the manga again.

I just want to talk about the symbolism of the guitar strings in the story, even though it is pretty obvious. The time when Mafuyu first met Ueno, the strings of the guitar weren't working. Then, Ueno came and fixed it so that it can work again. It kinda symbolizes how Ueno also saved Mafuyu from being stucked in his past. Also, the fact that it broke when they were arguing right before their first live. It mirrored Mafuyu's feelings. His fragile feelings that was the on verge of breaking, and it did. Then that's when he was finally able to let out his feelings.

Also, as much as it hurts me seeing Uenoyama feeling insecure, I understand why Mafuyu is having a hard time letting go of Yuki. He was a big part of his life. Not only was he his lover, he was his best friend too. Furthermore, Mafuyu is probably kind of blaming himself for what happened to him. He had a lot of regrets, and those are not easy to let go.

I'm pretty sure, he'll never be able to forget about Yuki, he'll always be a part of his memories. But I know, there will come a time, when he can fully love Uenoyama without his past haunting him. His first love may be Yuki, but Uecchi is his great love

agshka this is a freaking masterpiece!! I wish I found out about this sooner. I can't believe a 6 chaptered manga could make me feel this way. Their story is so beautiful. Definitely one of my faves now.

Lowkey wished we saw a glimpse of their NY life, though that bittersweet and nostalgic ending was the perfect way to end this wonderful story.
