They created an alliance in order to stop Susan, so here we are. She got stripped from her status and Adel has no more reason to stay anymore. She was only a victim and witness but willingly to help.

I suggest that you go reread the story from the beginning and this times pay more attention to everything.
my bad i forgot that she didn’t know abt the investigation, so yeah, i agree she’s obviously a victim in this mess. but bc of this she knows that people are obviously targeting her and that she might be in danger. despite this she’s still acting pretty naively... like if you nearly got poisoned would you be so reckless as to run away from someone who literally has guards that could protect you from death?? i’m not saying that they should follow the dumb trope where the man is the hero but she’s literally getting free protection rn and i just feel like it’s a pretty solid reason to stay in the house. also like what if she gets ambushed?? it almost happened to adele before but she isn’t taking any precautions. i just feel like she has absolutely no sense of danger rn idk man rather than seeming like a strong & intelligent mc from the beginning, she feels more naive & reckless rn
What story are you guys reading? It seem like quite a bit different from the one i am reading. Victims seriously? She knew what she was getting into and nothing stopped her from getting the hell out of there if she didn't want to stay. Also she know that they are doing an investigation, the story made it quite clear that's he's discussing with her pretty much everything that have to do with that case. At chapter 94 he told her that he had let Susan go free to capture the mastermind.
