the audience hasn't seen the haesol side story. that's why they're more hostile to her. it's true that both of them are doing same thing and yet haesol is getting more heat of it.

The last like 15 chapters were about Yeonwoo’s SA and bullying, of course people will feel some sort of way when a character that has yet to get their own backstory starts asking for details. This is also made worse by the fact Yeonwoo is Gen trying to reconcile with her and she’s being flat. Like don’t blame people on being anti-woman, this is how I know y’all don’t read BL cuz the comments would’ve been 10x worse in support of Yeonwoo

Honestly you're so right. So many people expect Haesol to be perfect (which in my opinion would make her a boring character) and act like the author hasn't shown over and over again that she struggles to understand emotions.
Her way of communicating is very direct but that doesn't mean it's bad. It can just be a bit much for more sensitive characters like Yeonwoo but might also be exactly what he needs.
She hasn't hurt him any more than Junhyuk has. She's literally bled for him at times. In fact she always tried to be there for him but Yeonwoo repeatedly chose the person he's more familiar with (understandably). And then that same person broke him heart by trying to cut ties with him. Of course she's going to be frustrated after all of that.
Yeah, exactly, so people have an issue when she does something wrong, like her hypocrisy in the most recent chapter. And some people really don't like her which I don't agree with but it comes down to personal opinion and is definitely not indicative of a fetishiser or misogynist. Also, Junhyuk and Haesol are not comparable because they have been around him for different amounts of time and mean different things to Yeonwoo.

Nari & Junhyuk are so refreshing. I’ve been shipping them since the beginning. I love how they uplift each other.
