You can just watch the anime. It ended last week.
It's not as complete as the manga is and they missed a lot of stuffs but you can be satisfied. The end is basically the same. And it's even better in the anime

Nothing has been set yet but as things are progressing I think there's a chance they're the ship. I don't really ship them as well since I've been on Clara's side since day 1 but I don't care about it right now since the story is really good XD

But she's also taking care of herself well, and was doing so before nine, so why is he making a bit deal out of it now. Just cuz you like someone it doesn't give you the right to restrict them because you don't like what they're doing and pout. He should've tried to compromise the situation but giving a good alternative instead of saying "Don't do this" with no plan to use instead of that one and then sticking his tail between his legs. I came here for Melissa to be a badass, not for a man to impede on her life and try to fucking take control of the narrative instead of respecting her choices. Sorry for the rant.

I agree and as for the “cant read the room” even if she wasn’t Melissa at first, she came to the world with a CHEATING fiancée and the fact not many men tried to go for her bc she was a fiancée and seen as a evil person. Nine also didn’t immediately try to flirt with Melissa so as they got closer she just saw it as him opening up more because nine was portrayed as this really cautious and scared wolf bc of how he was abandoned. I’d rather this be in here than the sudden story change and they make Melissa this easily flustered girl around a person that she found out likes her

If someone doesnt show concern when ANYONE, especially an important person, wants to poison themselves then they reallly do not actually care about other persons. Being concerned about MC risking her life is normal, theres nothing wrong with nine. It's MC with a screw loose for wanting to poison herself and then getting mad when people dont want her to end up hurting/dying. Her actions in the latest chapter are childish and selfish, and while having these qualities are fine and I still like MC and dont think her character is bad, I just expected more character development by this point.

I actually dont mind when the characters dont realize someone is in love with them, and agree with you not having a sudden change (slow-burn works for me lol). I only dislike it when they dont realize that they care at all- even a friend, or as someone you have spent time with will show concern. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

First of all I'm a grown ass woman so don't call me a fucking child. And secondly I never said that him being concerned was bad. I literally said he should talked about it instead of pouting and tried to compromise instead of not giving any other possible solution, getting mad, and ignoring her and pouting because she didn't want to fucking hear it. If anything Nine is the one being childish right now. The only thing he said to Melissa when he did his little spiel was shit like "I don't want you to get hurt" and "You're not invincible" instead of "Hey, I'm worried you could get hurt doing this, can we don't up with some way where you don't have to directly drink the poison? I know you trust Yuri but-" etc. etc. Choosing to get angry and then starting a screaming match instead is not how you fucking handle that kind of situation. You must be a fucking kid if you couldn't understand that much from shit I already brought up.

I do in fact think that putting yourself in harms way without taking into consideration the feelings of those that care about you, be it a family member, a friend, an employee, is selfish, and that if a person cannot see that then they have a child like mentality, which is what i stated previously and I will not change my mind on this. If it was your own mother, sister, whoever you care about about to take poison would you just say "ok cool take the poison im all on board"? I stated this opinion and also acknowledged that the MC is not a bad character despite my comments, yet poster she cursed me out. Hm, I'm guessing that since the knights are property of the whole family then everyone can do what they please with them. Since ML is just for MC, then that's why he only stays with her. But if someone were to order ML, he would have to do that.

But wouldn't he have to listen to an order given by the royals so if he is ordered to only listen to MC wouldn't he have to follow that order? Or is it that the most recent order takes precedence?

Yeah, but the reason is MC wants to stay on the emperor's good side since his favorite daughter is Rosie. If she does scold Rosie...... Rosie's can later on go and cry to the emperor then everything MC has done so far will be in vain. As she will lose his favor and the high society or nobles would no longer want to be associated/work/support MC.
