I know I'm gonna get hate for this but why is everyone hating on the real mc? He's the real one and yeah maybe later he'll be revealed to be bad or whatever but rn he's just him. Honestly i have seen many stories where the writer changes the traits of a character(especially uke) for the story. Like the uke was always stern and prideful, hated his brother and now this? Literally makes no sense. I hate when this happens. Just make the characters lustful from the beginning then. This story had so much potential but whatever. If you read the novel or even just the manhwa you can literally see how many time she has said that yeah I'll never fall for his words anymore but in the end she ends up with him . Don't get me wrong but i don't see why he left such a big influence in her life. Like they literally met for a while and he did nothing significant to her that she values this miserable life with him more than Charlotte's support for her freedom. If you read the last chapters (from where she left the manor) from the novel you'll be even more frustrated. Like she's being miserable for no reason. Like we know the ml's cause but she doesn't, even then she's being like this. When i say you she'll be hurt a thousand times again by him during this journey i mean it . Just read the novel. I feel bad that i wasted my time on this shit just for them to be together in the end. She could've divorced him on good terms and with his help flee from her family in the end. But she didn't.
