Personally, I would've preferred it if Akira genuinely regretted it and asked for forgiveness without making excuses or something like that. And even though Masato ended up saying that he had feelings for Akira for a long time, he could've given the latter sometime to reflect upon himself because what he did (although their feelings are mutual) is still morally incorrect.
ps. Although this is a fiction, I was still uncomfortable
So far this is the most peaceful manga I've read that involves Yakuza.
