I don't want to be that person but we are at ch.49 and there is almost zero development between the characters. I wonder where the story is heading.

, I believe that's the point. We're supposed to think "ah, his life really is just a spiral down huh" and read more in anticipation of SOMETHING good happening. But in terms of development between the characters, Jimin and Hyumwoo are clearly engaging more and the story is progressing by introducing that there is no supernatural element, and Hyunwoo is just insane. When you read it once a week, it's boring, but if you binge read it, it's pretty good
