this is. kind of bad lmao. theres some interesting ideas but the delivery is just so bland and lifeless. i really love the idea of the mc reincarnating through a bunch of different stories and keeping her talents and abilities from previous lives. i also think this being her last chance is an interesting touch. its just. not really explored at all. likewise i like how much resentment she keeps for her ''family'' but its just not used in a very compelling manner. i like a lot of things in theory actually, its just all used in a completely straightfoward by the numbers way it turns out bland. the arts pretty. its not STUNNING butits detailed enough to be pleasing to the eye.
one thing i will say. they really haven't managed to justify the fact they keep a bunch of guys locked in the basement. like. free them bro what IS this. so many people are like well it wasn't SO bad before the adopted son took over and like. the dad was collecting orphans and keeping them in his basement to raise to be powerful weapons theres no way to swing that dude. you're evil. so. i hope she eventually sets everyone free properly instead of just clicking her tongue and thinking to herself ''this is inhumane.'' yeah. it is. maybe do something about it orz

I really like the art and the writing style of this one but the ml SUCKS! he's such a dick. and he weirdly thinks nice things but never acts on them >_> its early so maybe he can grow but rn i just feel so bad for the mc... baby deserves better. also the way the ml told basically everyone he knows that they slept together was so shitty. what an asshole.

i've read a couple of novels with a similar starting point (struggling actor x his sugar daddy ceo who catches feelings) and i've always quite liked them. i think the difference here is the novel i'm thinking of the mc is determined to use the ml in return, hes a strong wilful character who is very aware of his position and is firm that this is a business transaction, one hes absolutely willing to take. the mc here is a soft sweet baby who doesn't really want to do this but he wants to act so badly he kinda has to... its different. even if its the same fundamentally, it feels way more coercive. that said its fine or whatever. im sure they'll fall in love eventually.
