I enjoy this plot quite a bit. It’s unique and special the art is beautiful and expressive and the characters are perfectly flawed and real. The only qualm I have is the fact that the main character is falling for a 9 year old girl? I understand that her body does not match her mind but in my eyes I feel that is no excuse.
I have to agree aswell, and the romance is so quick that idk what to feel about it. I just hope Zoe can exceed her mental age and grow up. I think she just need to let the past go when her mom died so her mental age won't remain as a 9 year. That was the age she was when her mom died and she her mind is still stuck on what transpired. If she overcomes it her branch might get flowered.
Also I just don't like the romance at all, idk what up with Shonen putting jncessarry romance down our throats. It would've been better if the author made it to be Lucas wanting Zoe to grow and not be swallowed by her delusions from when she was nine year old.

Why can’t this person draw female bodies? I don’t know if it’s just me but they look so unrealistic. They aren’t muscular. They aren’t slim. They aren’t curvy. They aren’t big. They aren’t small. They’re big boobs, thin bodies, tiny waist. Can’t we have a female character that looks real?
I’m not understanding how people see the name of the ship in the book and think it’s canon. Just because in the book doesn’t mean that Kaiser and Isagi are dating in fact the author probably did that to make fun of the people shipping them. I hate the ship and normally I’m very accepting. I guess I just hate delusional people.
It's not really in a dating sense but a partnership in soccer. I guess people who ship Kaisagi just got really excited of the fanservice from mentioning them in the manga. It's like either the author planned for it or is actually noticing it's readers. Sometimes ships (for my understanding) is not limited to romantic relationships, but it could also be friendships, companionships, and such. But I guess there are people who view ships more in a romantic way.

Although the book starts strong it begins to fade story wise. While we get more insight into certain characters backgrounds it’s kinda like we’ve traded that for the writing as I feel it’s begun to lack. Quite the shame but hopefully it picks up.

Honestly depends on the type of friendships they have. I'm female and would absolutely never, but other female friends do it with their other friends lol. It's super weird that it seems to be a running trope in manga, but eh, feels less gross once you meet people that actually do it. . . so hopefully that helps? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
