i had really high hopes for this story as the art style is very beautiful. while reading this I felt a bit uncomfortable with how the author is drawing the lips of the black characters (as a black person it’s super annoying to see this happen in art) in some scenes the african characters are drawn quite beautifully while in others it’s quite off putting I feel that if the author took more time into drawing the lips less offensively it would make the story 100x better and also if the author did more research in the culture of African tribes the wakanda bit had me rolling my eyes this story had lots of potential it seems like a cute story but im a bit disappointed with how we’re portrayed in this story. also it’s also kind of sad to see people mocking others on how we feel on this matter especially when the scan team says “we don’t care you get what you get” im really grateful that a scan team took the time and hard work to translate this for us to read and post but we all have our opinions but please don’t invalidate others on how they feel about stories that portray them negatively. anyways this got quite long but i hope everyone is having a lovely morning/afternoon/evening!! ♡ also i’m not trying to start any fights either!! just starting my opinion and i hope this didn’t come across as condescending!! i still have hope for this story but hopefully if the author sees the constructive criticism it might get better
yuri treats jiri so badly it makes me kinda angry. i get that it’s kinda his personality and he’s going through things too but it’s not really an excuse and can’t he tell that jiri is really struggling mentally?? anyways jiri deserves the world i just want him to be happy!! i also want yuri to be happy as well he also deserves to be happy but everytime he hurts jiri’s feelings the look on jiri’s face always breaks my heart
