Well someone who trained their whole life is not prepared for the person he thought can win against him. Suddenly MC hold hostage with his own life, hold his hand and become a giant beating him up. Like let's face it as long as it's MC the plot will definitely favour him to be the winner most of the time. We read a lot of this so we know it certain he will lose but he doesn't know that mc had powers to fight against him. The power he knew MC has is that can heal him.
Anyhow I feel that it wasn't that much of the cringe but at the same time I do feel I want to know how one can create the scenario in a different way.
