I think he was already go to abroad before? Because in the last chapter remember after the accident that they cause in brother qui motorbike? He said that he have to go abroad to study? That's why he made a promise to mo that he will return to him (mo) immediately..

he tian only leaves for a year or so (?) im pretty sure hes not gone for long and then he comes back on christmas

THEY DID!!! in the last chapter he tian was like « i’m hes boy-«  and then stopped bc mo didn’t want him to say thisss !!! but bc of china gay restrictions, the author will never actually make them together ( i think :( ) and in the future, they’re really close as we can see in the last chapters. mo don’t even care when he tian hugs him or touches him etc etc even when mo was drunk he was on he tians lap and was kissing him
