People forgot that the crown prince is intelligent (￣∇￣") ofc he would think that she already died already since their world has magic. In the novel the crown prince was describe to be kinda wise(?) so yeah I guess the manhwa failed to capture that. I forgot the scene in the novel for this one but it was much more clearer to understand why the crown prince assumed that she died before
