Japan has a problem with cp, so they probably didn’t care. Look at the mangaka of Rurouni Kenshin. He was arrested for having cp in his home, and not only did he not go to prison, but his manga is still being serialized…and it even got an anime reboot.
MC was trash and he never rlly redeemed himself. At least with the second couple they had some chemistry. Definitely not condoning the r@pe though.. BL authors need to find a better way to tie couples together cause the blackmail and SA is so trashy and gross.
I feel the exact same way. while I was reading it I really did not like the main character, and as much as I didn't like the blackmail and the SA in the second couple I still liked them more than the first couple
