Well JK you are ranked lower than a rollercoaster cause lets not forget you’re the same guy who embarrassed and humiliated Dan in front of the whole team, accused Dan of purposely harming you thinking he was working for the other team even after him denying it, left him after sex and did not once check up on him, yelled at him and berated for his health ( cough cough his birthday present for you), only spoke to him in regards of YOU and YOUR NEEDS never noticing what he was going through for a while (hence Dan only believing you care for him for your own favour) SO I DON’T KNOW WHY YOU MIGHT BE LOWER THAN A ROLLER COASTER ON THE MAKING DAN HAPPY INDEX.... and do not get me started on the debt in which you claimed you bought him in cash...
....he folded like a pretzel in 3 seconds couldn’t at least keep the lie for a week dude you had one job but does anyone else feel like KH caught on that maybe yeonjo has feelings for him due to the realization that he hadn’t killed himself... in other words I feel like he would find yeonjo just to see if he confesses/ admits that he has feelings for him but even if yeonjo lies KH will OVERALL let yeonjo go, as he realizes if he were to take him back yeonjo would do anything in his power to hurt himself and him...just a thought (⌒▽⌒)
I think we all agree that Chang-gyeon has every right to kill his second brother, matter of fact put in his first brother as well who wasn’t able to protect him from the violence and abuse their second brother put him through...reading the trauma and the abuse Chang-gyeon went through he deserves to be a villain and he has every right to destroy the kingdom that ignored his existence and trauma.
This does not excuse the abuse he put Sam-myeong through but this explains his obsessive tendencies towards Sam-myeong, Sam-myeong was his light and happiness in that horrible place his only will to live, and the kingdom took that away ( more so his father). In which he then had to live with an abusive brother and a neglectful father where no one shows him an ounce of care or love in which he endured for YEARS... essentially living in darkness waiting for the light to arrive which is Sam-myeong but we all know he didn’t come back for 20 plus years ( I think)...
Reading it like this explains Chang-gyeon obsession and why he’s such a prick and all I can say is damn and I cannot wait to see how this season ends as much I feel sorry for Chang-gyeon, Sam-myeong does not deserve that treatment and essentially Chang-gyeon is putting Sam-myeong through the same abuse he experienced throughout the kingdom.
Probably throughout the years of abuse, as he was willing to let SM go during Ch.40 however probably due to palace drama someone hanging someone (which I think it’s either the eldest princes lover or the eldest prince killed the 2nd prince) where CG realizes he cannot live through this hell without SM but this is just my hypothesis on the alluded images that we were given so far ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Because at the end of season 1 we see the eldest prince coming back to the kingdom which I’m assuming his lover and CG quoted it along the lines of something reappearing if I’m correct. But overall I’m assuming he lost his mind due to his brother and father abuse.
My only complaint of this webtoon is the pacing of it. Let’s be for real they are going to end up together whether we like it or not but my issue is how will the author portray it and how long it will take just for the point to get across. The first season was 79 chapters if you ask me it was nonsense, I understand the back and forth but some chapters tbh were not needed, ESPECIALLY the smut (if anything they need to cut back on it wasting valuable chapters)...my other complaint is that the author said that they are going to be 3 acts not exactly 3 seasons it will be more if anything.... so by ch 200 plus we’ll be done...okay might be married by then.
My other issue with this webtoon is HOW will the ML mourn I have never hated a ML this bad before, I remember dropping it midway due to the abuse and repetitiveness of this webtoon until recently due to MC running away but in season 2 it’s already spoiled in the prologue that ML found the MC so what’s really the point waiting and reading season 2. And if the author really wants to stab my heart I need to the ML gouge his eyes out, beg on all fours, sacrifice his leg or arm for MC, I need him to repent for all the wrongdoings, I need him to suffer overall. The best thing the author could do is have yeonjo live in solitude by himself and live in quiet unknown town where he’s at peace while the ML suffers by the simple absence of yeonjo as he doesn’t deserve the near presence of him.
As of right now the ML has a stick up his ass where it’s his way or the highway and I just need him to suffer where it be mentally or physically ( losing an arm per say).
This explains why he’s such a terrible king and essentially why he doesn’t care for the kingdom or it’s people (he was never expected to take the throne OMG), and let me guess the MC was the first person to care for the ML in which he grew an obsession over in which at the time MC accepted as they were children but as he grew his feelings grew more possessive... and because he was never shown love by his father, mother, or brothers ML will hurt the MC in ways that he thinks he’s showing his “love” to him and ultimately forcibly keep him in the palace... and in order for him to become king.... did he kill his 2 older brothers taking the throne purposely destroying the system that did not care for him or his mother or did he even want to become the king in which he HAD to take the responsibility of the king because his 2 older brothers died of mysterious causes?....I’m sat for this hot mess

I honestly loved this webtoon so much! The only thing I despised about it was the MISUNDERSTANDINGS. If you read this webtoon chapter to chapter the ML and MC have every right to think what they think.
(SEASON 1 RECAP) Jiwook has a TERRIBLE inferior complex toward ML during season 1 to the point he sabotages his own feelings and it frustrating as ML continuously shows jiwook that he likes him and we see this play out when jiwook dad arrives where Jiwook was embarrassed especially when he gave money ( I’m assuming it was due to being so little) to the ML but the ML was so happy to the point he smiled and said he was going to keep it for safe keeping. Then don’t get me started on the dog where ML didn’t know anything and was just waiting with the dog at Jiwook place to surprise him only for him to come back saying his dad died....WHAT THE HELL??? I think what hurts is that ML really wanted everything to work out between them to the point that he agreed with his sister that he would be a pawn for her in order for her to be President of the company in order to pay off jiwook debt... was ML toxic in the beginning to jiwook YES but later on he genuinely developed real feelings for him and you can tell that by ML actions from getting a dog that jiwook wanted to paying off jiwooks “debt”. There has also been so many other time where ML offered job opportunities to jiwook and I think college tuition as well. They were just kids in love but ofc there has to be an evil character that just has to screw that up...
I do want to emphasize I don’t blame jiwook for not always accepting ML offerings as he did always questioned ML intentions especially the debt issues where ML was strictly using that just so jiwook could stay close to him and lying to him that he has to pay it back.
Season 2 recap: that season was a hot mess in the first few chapters I could not stand especially the ones where ML didn’t know how to deal with jiwook depression. However it got better after everything was revealed and after ML handled everything, especially surrounding the death of his father where jiwook finally realized ML did not kill him as ML had no power back then. However what sucked is that during this time Jiwook still thought himself as a burden to ML especially during the wedding fiasco, I do believe ML should have told jiwook what his plan was but due to his fear of jiwook running away he couldn’t risk it I do want to add that at this time jiwook already ran away twice effecting ML trust surrounding jiwook promises (the first one running away after promising he would see them at school, jiwook instead dropped out and ran away, second one was going to america where jiwook instead ran away and stayed in Korea) so I don’t blame ML for questioning jiwook promises. And what sucks is you feel throughout the reading ML feelings and jiwook at this time is still suppressing his feelings and still plans on leaving ML....don’t we LOVE misunderstandings.... ( the amount of times I yelled AT my phone saying JIWOOK PLEASE JUST TRUST HIM, don’t put yourself through unnecessary pain again) anyways what I really loved about this season is that ML knew if he held onto jiwook he would only harm himself so at the end of the season ML let jiwook go even though it hurt him. Edit: Another thing that I want to ADD is that reading multiple BLs there are some tops that don’t know when to let go of the person that they love and would rather see their significant other to harm themselves as long as their with them. That’s one thing I loved about this ML as much as he is dependent on jiwooks love and affection he knew when to let go where he would rather jiwook heal and be happy without him there ( still promising to keep him) but he knew when to let go. This reminded me of movie plot points where 2 characters can’t be together in which one or both of them let go of each other do to their love causing negative affects for the people around them or themselves.
Season 3 recap: my favourite season as the misunderstandings finally ended. Chapter started off as ML keeps his space from jiwook but makes it extremely clear he is not leaving him. Jiwook caves and asks what’s going on surrounding his wedding cause he wasn’t going to be his hidden lover, in which ML finally tells him the truth and the reconcile YAYYY finally no more secrets. Wrong... jiwook later found out that throughout all the years they been apart ML paid off his debt a long time go, where jiwook finally realized if he trust and spoke to ML the things that happened to him could have been avoided which honestly was so sad cause the regret felt throughout the panel was shared where jiwook even explained his thought process to ML when he ran away which was his way of helping and showing his affection towards him, where he felt like a burden and HAD to leave ML due to their differences in status quo. Anyways after that they closed everything off where both realized they had feelings for each other and want to stay together. Yayyy and at the end ML begged jiwook not to leave after everything was revealed but jiwook being healed and happy did not want to run away and accepted ML feelings FINALLY without thinking of dark thoughts ( such as being a burden and ML is better off with someone else).
Anyways I really loved this toxic story do not recommend for the light hearts.
