Hello!
So I'm looking for a manga where theres this girl who is the daughter of some powerful noble, her father basically makes her a leader of a certain territory and she makes it successful due to her past knowledge from her previous life. There's also a guy who works for her and he's the first prince of said kingdom although she doesn't know it yet.

I forgot the title. Oof.

I have a question to ask everyone on this website because I am seriously debating whether or not I should go forward with presenting this topic to my class. Basically, its just discovering how violence and pleasure really connect with each other and exploring topics such as sadism and masochism, which is fine and all for me but I'm scared of being judged by my classmates for presenting this topic.

Being labelled a pervert and all other vulgar names is what I really don't want to happen, but I was just genuinely curious about how these two topics relate to one another so decided to choose it as my presentation topic. In all honestly, I've been contemplating about whether to just switch to something more general for example connecting violence and class or gender but I know it's going to be harder for me to do.

I don't know what to do. Should I just stop being a chicken and just do my presentation on violence and pleasure?

Thoughts? ( ̄∇ ̄")

edit: i have asked my teacher about it and he was completely fine with it and most of us are sixteen

I think, especially in a school environment, writing about things like sexual pleasure probably isn't a good idea. Not even because the fact that you would be labeled rudely, mostly just because it's likely to make other people uncomfortable, or even triggering in some cases. You could try to go for a broader topic that still relates to violence, maybe like violence in relation to coping or hobbyism. You also could ask your teacher about it? See if they're okay with it. And if you decide not to for this, consider writing about it another time for self indulgent work if you're interested in the topic. Even if it is harder to pick a different subject, I'd suggest going for something different since it's and school and if you're younger it's likely to get you in trouble.

Yeah man, it's fine. We make presentations so that other people could judge it, give opinions to it, and recommend some things to us. Plus, I think that your topic is actually a good one. So proceed with it and don't get discouraged anymore. Good luck buddy!(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I think it depends how old you and your classmates are , if anyone is still underage it could be risky , and did your teacher approve of the topic?

    LALALAND December 21, 2018 9:40 pm

you're so courageous , And I really like the topic, but not everybody is open-minded like you ya know? I'm afraid that you'll get bullied bc of that.

    kanekeyken December 21, 2018 10:19 pm

have you talked to your teacher about this? it's a very risky subject. interesting, but risky and it could make some people uncomfortable. especially if the audience is underage.

    HamesTheJames December 21, 2018 10:52 pm

yeah, i wouldn't do this because
    1. You will get judged, not a maybe, you will. If you get anxiety from being judged, don't do it
    2. Make sure it won't affect your social life (some friends might be dicks and think you are weird if you do)
    3. There is a large Gray Area between if this subject should be adult 18+ or spoken with younger audience (like a kinky birds and the bees talk), if one of your classmates is, idk, extremely christian, they might tell their parents, the parents will tell the school, and the school will either defend you or, like in most public schools, not defend you and give you a punishment.
    4. You end up on Reddit (this is the least to worry about, but to most people talking about sadism and masochism at this age is weird)

Basically it all depends on the classmates, and the school. Very risky.
Also, because its a presentation and you are most likely going to have pictures.
PLEASE DO NOT USE BL OR YAOI PICTURES THATS A NO NO. THATS GONNA TRIGGER REASON 1-4, THATS LIKE DANGER ZONE FAM.

Is there a chance that I may be slightly sadistic? Cause whenever I see videos of males dancing in a femme way, it just makes me want to completely dominate them. Is it just me?

    somerandomgirl May 20, 2018 4:36 pm

I feel the same urge to dominate people sometimes and I am like %80 sadist

So I've been facing some problems nowadays, I had assumed I was straight because I was always attracted to boys. But then, all of a sudden, I started to waver and now I think I'm attracted to girls and boys. Cause, I always find my eyes wandering over to girls and subtly checking them out, theres this one girl that I crave hugs from. I have taken some online tests about sexuality and most answers were bi, but I'm not quite sure, does this mean I'm bi?

    quix0ticpanda September 27, 2017 4:19 pm

if you feel in yourself that you're sexually attracted to both males and females, then you are bi. take time figuring it out, dear. sometimes it's just a phase for some.

    mariashi September 27, 2017 4:41 pm

I feel you. When I started high school, I've always thought I was straight, but when I was in 11th grade there was this girl that had always caught my eye. She had a cool and chill aura. I heard from my friend that she was Bi, so that's when I was interested in her for the first time. Whenever the teacher was talking, I would unconsciously just stare at her and observe her actions. When senior year came, we sat near each other and she would be in my group for cooking class. We would argue sometimes because we are both stubborn and would point out and state our opinions, but there was this one time she called me cute after something happens I'm not sure what we were doing at that time. And at that moment my heart bagan to race really fast. As the semester passed, I had a growing urge to kiss her and hug her. I wanted to be more than friends with her. But I sex nevertheless crossed my mind. So I thought I Bi-curious. But when college came, I started to realize that I'm most likely biSexual because I would be nervous around the type of girls that I like. And I would get turned on sometimes... sigh... but I'm not 100% sure if it's just a phase or if I'm really bi.

Sorry there are some typos and grammar mistake. I typed this on my phone ^ - ^ so it was hard to fix and retype

    mariashi September 27, 2017 4:49 pm

Oh! And there was this one time in my dream I started making out with a girl, but I don't know her. I don't know if I was just sexually frustrated or felt the need to get a partner because I've never been in a relationship before since my parents are really strict about it.

    ebjean September 27, 2017 7:34 pm

Sexuality is on a continuum, and it's perfectly natural and normal to feel somewhat differently at different times in your life, though many will not admit that they do. It sounds like you're pretty young; there is no need to define yourself as anything if you don't want to. If available, you might want to try some social groups in your area or when you start college (I'm assuming you are younger than that - my apologies if wrong) to get to know some folks identifying a variety of ways. It might help you clarify things for yourself.
