This is so real like damn I think in most of the bl manga it's kinda stereotype for a mc to be always running in troubles even after getting clear sign/warnings from people
It's like authors keep on pushing these scenes for thrill or sense of suspense but they just shove whatever comes to mind so they'd be done with it. It's annoying #－.－)

A lot of adaptations miss a central key from the org work but they would cast the BEST actors and actresses to gloss over it and still gain the public's attention, they don't give a fuck on the story itself, the author, nor the true fans of the work - which in this case, I'm glad Jay did and that it's the reason he won against that creep
