One of the best threesomes out there!
It's not a love triangle, yeah, Yumeto and Souichi def loves Yori and Yori equally loves both of them BUT Yumeto and Souichi?? They haven't had a single kiss nor sweet moments AND interacted like the common best bros lol
I don't think they romantically like each other, just that they both love Yori, is best buds, and have no problem being in a three-way relationship
Lol that's when you know they only think about the connections and money the production will make. Sadly this is prob common. A lot of adaptations miss a central key from the org work but they would cast the BEST actors and actresses to gloss over it and still gain the public's attention, they don't give a fuck on the story itself, the author, nor the true fans of the work - which in this case, I'm glad Jay did and that it's the reason he won against that creep
Aww I suddenly missed the kids at the Academy ╥﹏╥ Jiwoo is growing up too fast, please enjoy your youth with your friends as well, aside from fighting/sparring. Sigh when will they all hang out again?
I hope authors also make MC's circle of friends stronger, like not only as side characters but one as passionate as the MC and have their own goals, specially since they already have real-life battle experiences (like Bam, Khun and Rak at TOG, each has their own paths without having to stick to each other)
Finally done reading this - a solid 100/10
All of these stars are shining for you <3
I never thought I would take a liking to a boxing manhwa but this is different. Story telling, pace, characters, symbolism, back stories and art are all well crafted. It made me cry, hate, laugh, and at some point, a fever dream with Victor it's a rollercoaster of emotions lol
The MC, Yu, is a complicated character, there's not much in the story that we could see his emotions or reactions to his opponents or if he ever knew he was being played by K. Which is why I don't like the "date" scene with Carmen, their connection felt too sudden, specially when Carmen also seemed to have changed after that. Her typical secretary aura (which I LOVE sm) vanished, so it was a disappointment, more so when he went to Aaron for help. I liked the ending at the orphanage though.
Back to Yu, he just seemed out of himself, constantly looking for the meaning of life, and his identity - which revealed to be because of his childhood. I wished K had never looked through the window when Yu was getting beat up, and I wished Yu didn't take a liking to boxing at the time K is around. Life is too cruel. He entered K's game when he was young and I don't think he cared too much for anything else aside from his cat because of all the depressing stuff that's happened to him. Which is why he is such an interesting character, neither a hero nor a villain, and why the ending to this is the best. Though kinda disappointing we didn't know how Yu decided to end his boxing career and that we couldn't see K dying or getting beaten up I just hope Yu went into therapy after all that
Anyway, we need more J and Aaron in our life. J is definitely a Heroic MC on his own story.
(I don't write this much usually, I just want to this time lol not that anyone cares lol)
You know that feeling of having the first bite of a steaming home cooked meal when you've been starving for 5 hours straight? Yeah, these chapters just hit the right spots keep it coming!!!!
