its an odd choice by the author considering this is fantasy meaning it doesnt adhere to medival standards anyway, the clothes arent even accurate yet the author chose pedophilia as a way to displag authenticity
The story caught me! The omega is really adorable and I immediately empathized with him. I hope the mother doesn’t find out about this alternative because I’m afraid she’s gonna force him to spend his heat cycle with an alpha.

I’m getting tired of waiting for the prince to get his punishment. It’s so frustrating that Idris has given up and does nothing.
It's because he cant do anything. He is tied up by them prince. If he does anything,the prince will brutally rape and kill his comrades. Like his previous squire who was only 15 was also killed because Idris didn't want to obey the prince.
Yes, I know it. But it's so frustrating to read 40 chapter of rape and torture, and I don't understand him. The prince is completely crazy and hurts not only him but many innocent people. Yet he has given up and I am sorry because he is so strong!

Lol He didn’t give up, the person they are going against is the literal crown prince of the nation, one false move and Idris could have his entire squad executed for treason, at best. Being physically strong doesn’t mean crap when it comes to political intrigue. Right now, the best thing Idris can do is take all is the crown prince’s abuse to protect everyone and bid time until a counter plan is in place. (Which is what he’s doing)
Agreed! And Idris hasn’t given up - he’s definitely planning something. One of the recent chapters we can see the deputy commander handing him some suspicious looking documents and he hides them in his desk drawer when the fuckass prince comes to screw him over. I just hope something happens soon, hurts my heart to see Idris in this situation. But at the same time I don’t mind the slow burn - more realistic like this (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Why do I see hate comments for both characters? Both have made their mistakes and are not perfect but the story so far seems very consistent. The kid just wants to be loved and honestly I feel sorry for him because he has so many mental problems and I don’t know how he’s gonna get to be the son of a b*tch of the prologue.
I love character introspection and also can’t wait to find out more about the mother’s story.
