I think the reason Emma made that face was because their original plan was just to escape from the demon side can escape to the human side,
I stoped reading around chapter 15, does anything exciting or interesting happen to keep reading ? When I was reading it there didn't seem like any real substance , the characters are one dimensional to me also . The only think that kept me reading was the art style . And I hope no one gets offended sorry
It’s actually pretty good in my opinion ╮(￣▽￣)╭ the characters progress pretty decently and it had those little moments of comedy :) the mc isn’t a weak timid woman so I like it lol
But, we all have our own opinions sooooo yeah...
It just depends on what you normally like to read tbh
