I'm sorry but I have to say this and sorry if I offend anyone.
The manga has bad writing and plot. Usually with you could say harem anime a plot is built up and made in a way where the build up of best girl(or in this case boy) wins. But the problem with this is that he ends up still liking the person he's always liked. Everything that happened in between just was made into something completely unnecessary. If the author was just going to make him end up with karma why did the author make junseo fall in love with mc ? He could have just made him the supportive side character that helps MC get through his problems. But instead made him another love interest that has not chance of even remotely winning because MC still liked karma. Like I understand it's to cause drama and added plot but it only makes sense if MC still didn't like karma as much.
Sorry for my little rant. I'm not mad that karma gets mc just felt like I wasted my time.
That's cliche though.
Even if the ending left a bad taste to some, the way it is now is more realistic.
Even if they've spended more time together, which builds up their relationship, love is odd, it won't happen just because it seems like it will.
Plus, Jaewon can't have a quick change of heart that fast, it ruins his character even. And Junseo in the first place wanted to support him, and he stayed true to his words.
"We may fall in love, but we can't ask people to return the same feelings."
I think the drama between those two, was pointing out this message to the audience. That regardless of what, love is not a choice. I'm team Junseo though,I am rooting for him but the ending is acceptable and it's circumstances were understandable.
I think it's because I've gone through the same situation as him.I was in love with my friend, but she can't help but want to be closer with someone else.Although I'm the one who has been there for her all these times, love is not a choice. So I let her go,but we are still friends.Reading this story, I relate a lot to him, even his personality and the decisions he make to care for Jaewon hahaha
I'm just sharing my point of view, and regardless, what has happened can't be helped. Junseo is such a wonderfully written character, something about him feels realistic,he's mature, kind and is a gentle person, with a big heart to love.He has potential, and I wish the author can make a sequel for him, let it not be a waste.
Can someone who has read this explain the plot a little bit. I read up to chapter 10 but I'm really confused
The story revolves around blondie and whether he chooses red or black hair guy. He starts off with red (who absolutely loves blondie from the bottom of his heart for reasons unknown, however is a little bit clingy and possessive), but he doesn't feel like he absolutely loves him and wants him to lead a "normal" life, due to the homophobic nature of society or something. Scarlet girl likes red and white hair girl i think likes the dark hair guy as well. Blondie ends up falling for dark hair guy, but a bunch of stuff happens. His mother is emotionally abusive and is like if you keep seeing him i'm going to kill myself in front of you, and eventually gets hit by a car but ends up dying nonetheless. Blondie gets that depresso expresso and blames black hair, and the dude is pretty much 'i never liked you, couldn't you tell because i never said i love you' (however he's only doing this to for blondies well-being, to protect him and make him pile his negative emotions on him rather than himself). Massive time skip, where he becomes famous and goes back to red (who is working in law), and there is a new show he is working on. Scarlet hair and white hair both try to get roles in the show, and this reunites black hair and blondie, as black hair is silver hairs new assistant. Blondie still hates black hair for "killing his mother". Eventually black takes him away due to avoid some dangerous people, they clear everything up (kinda, it was somewhat poorly done) and they get back together. Red hair finds the two together and tries to drag the blondie home, who suggests that they should officially break up, which angers red. A rumour soon spreads about blondie and red being together (which will greatly impact their reputations due to homophobic setting) and to prevent the damage they said scarlet girl and red are getting married and as such is only a rumour. Red's mother witnesses red hair and blondie in a position indicating they were in a relationship which makes red's mother breakdown because she wants her son to lead a normal life and wanted blondie to held him find someone or something like that. From this chapter (27) it was stated that scarlet girl plus black hair started the rumour, which lets scarlet get the guy she wanted for over 20 years and black hair to get blondie (their logic behind it). Blondie asks black hair if he was the one who spread it and gets annoyed with him. There are a few points i missed, but that's what I interpreted the story as so far. At this point it is littered with unnecessary drama, some annoying characters (honestly don't even know why red and black like blondie so much, he hasn't really shown any qualities that make him interesting or deserving of their love) and over-dramatic plot points, but at this point I'm just reading it to see how it ends. It should also be noted that a lot of scenes were censored which is why the story is really confusing at this point, because we're losing a good chunk of the actually story.
Depends if you like it or not honestly, if you don't like it in about 20 chapters then it might be best to drop it for now, unless it becomes significantly better. It'd probably be best to wait til it's finished or there are a lot of chapters out if you're interested though, so you don't have to suffer the neverending drama that piles up every week
Finally a manga/manhwa where the mc doesn't forgive the rapist nor want to be with him
yep and that's one of the reason i love this manhwa
thank you, I wish I could upvote you more.
