im only on chap 4 and this is has so much potential.. i just wish they did a better job at explaining the situation at hand and took time to explain things better. the beginning feels soo rushed we're not getting a good understanding of everything.

i can't help but feel bad about the brother. to elaborate, not the "incestuous relationship", but just a glimpse into his childhood he probs saw Taehyuk as his savior/only hope. probably thought Taehyuk was the only person that genuinely liked him and he could trust in an environment where he basically had no one by his side and clung on to him. the constant bullying from other kids and the pressure and abuse from his mother.. he expressed his "love" in a twisted/unethical way maybe bc he was that desperate for love/affection. idk if it was stated that the love he felt was like incestuous/sexual/i-wanna-marry-u kind, but to me it felt more like a toxic lifeline/platonic i-can't-live-without-you kinda love. ik what he did was horrible and im glad he was able to move on, but it felt so bittersweet.

SAME! Although for me the brother never loved him in an incestuous way. He was the older brother and what he went through is more like an emotional attachment toward his younger brother that became toxic. He thought only him could protect him, want him always on his sight and did horrible things to make sure they would always be together. Later, when they reincarnated, you can see just how much he loved his little brother. For me is not romantic toxic, just old brother toxic. Especially him being the king, at those times, is exactly as you said. He was obsessed with the only one who would never betray him and never had bad intentions or ulterior motives.
Yessss I agree I noticed this exact thing. Especially when he would go to see his older brother about the situation in the beginning. It never seemed like romantic interest but genuine worry. I feel like the brother associate taes death with the just the presence of un. Not blaming Un but maybe an assumption that Uns spiritual essence is why so many bad things were happening
