I think the people's feelings and thoughts were realistic in the sense that they'd feel disappointed with someone who just suddenly up and runs and away while the master is away at war. The knight's comments were also valid points, as people who don't really communicate with the MCs would have probably thought she just left on a whim or that she didn't think the ML would survive the war, etc.
BUT the servants' actions are not realistic and is total BS. They are being paid to work to do their job. They can be hurt, but that doesn't mean they have the right to refuse the work they are being paid to do LOL... I know this is not real, but I'm just saying, if the author is going for a more realistic reaction, she needs to be consistent ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Now that I checked again, though, it might not be the exact same look and build. But it's pretty close so far I have ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I actually like this. The misunderstandings are annoying, but also adds to the flavor. I honestly don't know what's gonna happen next, and it makes the story more interesting than other manhwas with the same plot out there.
That’s true but let’s be honest, she doesn’t know any real detail inside the world in itself, only the information provided by the game for a romance plot. She’s not dealing with a romance story, she’s dealing with not only a buff turned into a curse but with complex characters that aren’t talked about in the game. She’s completely blind, dealing with obsession left and right from not only men but women. She’s alone and as far as she can see, being alone is just as dangerous. She really has no choice but to trust men who have power and position, power to keep her safe. Her own father wanted to steal her for frick sake, that’s so horrific to deal with and she can’t hide either because the obsessed people already show a knack to trying to get to her no matter what
And genuinely I see your point in that, it’s a great one. But from the hints dropped in her lore, her father was practically absent and any attention towards her was shown in a negative light, hence her need for positive attention. When she went to get the game, it shows in the setting that they have a type of futuristic type of games, where they can practically take become the characters themselves. She chose the character she related to the most, aka a tragic character. She was still someone that yearned for love and affection, something she feels like she missed out on, prompting her to add max to her affection level as a buff, again; she thinks she’s in a high level game
She shows excitement for how quickly the maids change their tune when they make eye contact , she’s cherishing the moment where everyone just utterly adores her without her needing to cut an arm off for that love (people pleaser) she’s can’t help it. It’s something she’s yearned for since childhood, everyone has a desire that they’re a slave to. This was hers. But we start seeing the side effects immediately , we; not her. And when she finally sees it? When all those actual strangers were gathered at her bedside? Who wouldn’t panic? She was full of utter terror. She ran, and her supposed fiancé? A man who swore he found her gloomy and boring? Now obsessed and at her door, immediately murdering everyone in a fit of jealousy? She can’t trust anyone in that moment, only one offered help. In a place where there’s chaos, a hopeless person would take any chance for survival. And that person who offered assistance? Suicidal homoside. She survived, it’s a game gone wrong and she wants to log out.
Imagine being in her position? Stuck in a game where only information is woo the men and get married and live your happy ever after?
Bestie, who would not panic? She’s now a complete stranger with a power she can’t control, in a world where anyone could become a monster to her. They don’t become slaves. We’ve seen that. They’re not mindless slaves, they’re people who do her bidding, expecting her in return. We’ve seen that. She tried to own it, it blew up in her face.
What can she do in a world that’s set in medieval times with fantasy added into it? The male leads are their own people now, fighting the curse she carries but at the same time becoming so hopelessly obsessed. The prince tried to be more deeply connected to her, and found her boring, prompting him to try to use her to gain more power; he’s a prince/ about to become king. He’s a tyrant. The men in power are messed up in their own ways, tbh
(Not a rant or hostile, I’m simply trying to explain in a deeper way, I’d genuinely love to hear your input as well, I find it interesting)
