That is South Korean law for ya

No that would be in most countries. When you hurt someone to safe someone it's different but the ex stopped and was shocked not in the motion to do anything else.
Normally you wouldn't get a problem when you hurt him after he did something but when he stopped and there is no new attack coming your nit allowed to hurt someone.
If you get reported there normally isn't a lot coming from because ist hard to make sure what exactly happened and who was in danger at what time but even in western countries you could get reported for that even its not fair.
But over all I'm so tired of this never ending drama that I'm thinking of dropping this. It's so annoying and unnecessary and there is also no reason for it for the plot. It's like the plot is stuck in a loop for too long...

Depends on the country in some European countries you can be reported but depending on the situation you just have to pay money but don't have to go to prison if there is a reason for your actions, like when you were in a dangerous situation but you hurt someone who wasn't part of it, so your were wrong but because of the situation you weren't able to different if you're still in danger or not. But that's not the law in every country. And you have to be ready to go through a lot with the police and the system until it's done.
Proud to say I have the same chonky fattass cat with the same color and design, but he's coward as hell (gets scared when he hears the motorcycle engine)
