The Princess Imprints a Traitor
My ID is Gangnam Beauty
Honestly at first I thought that this was going to be something like "ugly duck becomes beautiful cisne and all their problems go away". But it was refreshing to see how the FL, even if she got surgery, still struggles with problems with her self steem; like even if she is pretty now, the trauma doesn't go away. And also, society doesn't let her be at all, she keeps being bullied and called names. I liked that they didn't try to romantice the transformation thing. The plot felt relatable and realistic (well, you know, as realistic as a romcom webtoon can be), and leaves a good message. I felt frustrated in a lot of points because of the FL thoughts but well, as she said, it's something that you can't fully understand unless you have lived throught it
Here U Are
The author is part of the lgbt community, and it shows. I could relate so much, and cried a lot, because the portrayal of the lgbt problems was very real and well done. Honestly it's kinda slow at the begging, but the more you read the more involved you are. The story is pretty fluffy, it's my safe place, and i had a really good time reading it, i really recommend it
