I'm reading the comments hating on jeanette so i'm probably alone in thinking that feel sorry for jeanette cuz all she want is to have a warm family and to be included. She doesn't have any another agenda than that. Have some sympathy people(/TДT)/
Well, most of us have some legit reasons to dislike Jeannette. For me, Jeannette is naively harmful to those around her. She's nice and just wants to have a family, but how she acts is so naive that it ends up hurting those around her at some point. You can't use being naive as an excuse when Jeannette is supposedly someone who is very bright and educated. To me, this just seems that she's willfully ignorant to the world around her. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Well, the reason and her 'hurting' traces back to the whites and Claude's brother imo. I don't think her just being naive cause all this drama and hurting of anything let's say she did hurt athy's feeling but one must also realize that it's not only her fault shes naive. For example, did athy ever said anything to her abt anything? Like obviously she lacks the context to even realise her faults or mistakes when everyone is leaving her in the dark. I feel like it a bit unfair if we expect her to get what's she's doing is hurting someone when we who get to see the thought process of every character can make this leap unlike her. So I respectfully disagree on the part about her being willfully ignorant of everything. For one reason is that remember when is she starting to question her actions about asking athy if she's her 'real' sister and athy reacted strongly? But her almost reaching an epiphany, athy came right back and pushing her into her dreamland when athy said she was okay or something along that line. So imo, its not as black and white abt her just being plainly ignorant and unwilling to open her eyes.
Yes, their situation isn't just black and white. And I agree that some of the fault lies with the people around her, but on Mr. White's defense, none of us actually knows if he kept her from having a reasonable education befitting her status as "hidden princess". The only thing we know is that when Jeannette was young, she was considered as bright already (not as bright as Athy, but bright for her age). And that's the point, if Jeanette was properly educated, she should be more aware of how her actions impact people, yeah? I'm not saying she should be omniscient, but more awareness would be nice. On Athy's defense, she has to keep Jeannette in the dark. Athy, justly, cannot trust her, bcs Athy knows Jeannette doesn't know a damn thing. And really, how would she even begin to explain how she knows certain info from Jeannette? Remember, she trusts Lucas above most people and she still hasn't told him that she is reincarnated. All the more, how can you expect someone who has trust issues like that to suddenly open up to someone they felt uneasy with in the first place. Bcs, Athy did feel uneasy with Jeannette at first. She still does. Which brings us back to my earlier point that Jeannette is being willfully ignorant. She has her moments, sure, but overall, she seems to me like she doesn't even begin to try to understand why people act a certain way or something. I'd go on but I'm sleepy and I think this is far too much of a ramble than an actual response, and if so I apologize.
Nope, not really I do see ur side of view regarding on that. I do agree with you till certain extent, but let's just leave it here hah.I guessed both of us makes sense to from our own points and since there isn't much info regarding Jeannette can't really argue that much any more lol. But still thx for replying and I do get ur point, then have a nice day! (=・ω・=)
Suck it Isabelle (︶︿︶)=凸
