i’m saving a full review later on when this is finished, which hopefully isn’t soon because i’d love to keep seeing their story unfold even after they grow up, but the one thing i want to note and praise is the way the artist managed to convey the harsh reality of being queer in an asian environment so perfectly. i know it’s because the artist is also asian so they’re aware of what happens or what people’s reactions are towards the lgbt community, but as a queer asian living in an asian environment with conservative values, i cannot describe how much i love and enjoy this story. i could relate to almost everything these two boys went through, so these stories felt a little personal and a little too close to home. my favorite part has got to the the ghostly figures being drawn to represent them, and the homophobic dialogue being rocks thrown at them.
this got very long, but i just love this story so much. i rarely ever make reviews or leave comments in this site, so you can tell how much this story means to me and how much i love it. it’s one of my all time favorites, i come back to reread this every once in a while.

Indeed! The way the author uses words and their art to convey each of their emotion is absolutely beautiful. i especially love the wording of this manhua it's so beautiful makes me feel it in my heart and all of these experiences are very accurate not only the harsh treatment of society to queer people but also the expectations of adults for students, growing up full of praises, childish personality fading away and all the sad and happy things some of them are things I've experienced yet i can never make this painful experience something this beautiful like the creator did i lpve this manhua sm
i’m sure many people have said this already, but the plot just went down the drain. i personally don’t really care about the plot, especially because i don’t think it was this comic’s strong suit. i also didn’t care much for the art style change, but using ai just looks worse on their part. not to mention that it doesn’t even look good or consistent either.
i can understand if the artist & author lost interest in continuing this series, especially because it’s such a tedious process with no guarantees that everyone will like it (and i certainly can’t complain much since i’m reading this for free which would make me a hypocrite, but i do follow them on twitter to support them in any way i can as thank you), but i think it would have been the best decision to just discontinue it for everyone’s sake. making comics and updating constantly is a commitment lots of people undermine, and i can only guess this was what had happened.
nonetheless, i’ve shared what i’ve wanted to say. i doubt the artist will see this so let this just be another comment out in the wild. hopefully we see improvement soon!
