Aside from the angst, I really like how Athy forgot that Felix is known as the Blood Red Knight and personal guard of the Emperor which means he isn't really slow. I bet aside from Claude, Felix is the 2nd most dangerous person. That part made me laughed so hard.
From the very past or first ever encounter that they met they are Xiao Jifeng (demon or dragon) and Xuan Yue (royal dragon) many things happen and then we see Ryan/Jifeng do horrible stuff to Aoao/Yue ... Yue/Aoao dies and then possibly reincarnate/rebirth but due to the circumstance that he died he is now weak. Well since he is a royal dragon so that might happen. Which brings me why the Dragon Clan might baby Yue/Aoao.
Now I think Aoao/Yue's older brother or even the dragon clan killed Ryan/Jifeng due to him killing Yue. They met again now as Aoao (now weak) and Ryan as the black dragon of the mountain thats why they have no memory of being Jifeng and Yue or the older brother did something to make them forget.
Modern era is now where the story takes place. Now older brother is angry since someone knew the past that he tried to hide to his little brother even it might not be 100% correct and I think it was the snake. Older brother you really need some explaining to do!
now that everything makes sense and out in the open, I am so excited about the Hongrim Contest!!! They're going to visit another Kingdom! I just love world building!
The "headache lessened" line of Claude is like foreshadowing that he may adopt Jeanette if they reveal her eyes and I feel it might be on the upcoming audience. Lucas then comes back but the news about the 2nd Princess is already known by the kingdom thus when Claude remembers Athy due to Lucas, we will now have two princesses like the novel dictates.

Basically they did defeat Almuten, I really couldn't get through the novel. The novel is so much worse. They are all crazy powerful espers with psychological problems and one guide who is there because of circumstances. Mangago should add more tags into this so some people won't be triggered.

I read someone summarizing the whole novel n I think there might have been a happy ending where the mc kinda left them broke all contact and started a new life somewhere else. Only one who knew was uh the guy who doesn’t like guides, but i think the blonde dude does end up finding out and following him and I think they end up together. Honestly I might be wrong, it’s been a while since I read it.
