The main couple was ok, meh but fine, but the whole Dojun plot was awful.
The Doc SUCKS, he is a complete jerk that uses the fact that Dojun is awkward socially to fuck with him, he clearly abuses him, the sex fells predatory, with Dojun always thinking/saying ''am I good enough? I'm in pain but you liked it right?'' and then after we had to be ok with that there was the incestuous creepy brother who made Doc look like a ok human.
Does this author hates Dojun? Has this person seen/been part of/heard of healthy relationships? because this was not meant to be an angsty sad story, we where supposed to feel happy and satisfied with this end.

Yes, in this case there was a punishment that benefitted the main couple, but is it a good example of royalty to do things like that? Again, in this case things work out because he was also powerful and all of that, so they basically joined kingdoms so to speak, but the trope itself always makes me mad, i remember king's maker and all the hoops they went trough to make being together work and not fuck everything up and i appreciate that.
