I’m not sure, but usually in translations it’s because they can’t translate honorifics (You know, like: -san,-chan, senpai/sunbae, ecc..). In English they don’t exist in the same way as in Korean or Japanese, but in those languages they are part of every day life.
I like it much better when they use the original word, “mr.” in English sounds awkward. But official translations are especially guilty of this.

I never understood why Japanese honorifics are left in so much more often than Korean honorifics on translations. It’s like san and sensei and chan are accepted and understood but ssi and nim aren’t. Those I don’t mind, but when honorifics are used so much like a nick name and translated literally it gets on my nerves. Like Kill Switch with everyone saying Upperclassman and Underclassman. And don’t even get me started on Dangerous Convenience Store and EuiJoon screaming out “Mister” in the throes of passion….. it just doesn’t make sense!

hahaha i hate love triangle too. but this isn't like yours to claim manhwa kinda love triangle. it was very obvious sooyoung (uke) and taesung (seme) will end up together from the very beginning, it's just minhyuk (the 2nd seme) kept raping sooyoung in the middle of the stories. sooyoung never really show interest in minhyuk so it was obvious who the end game is. it's not really love triangle, more towards minhyuk being the 3rd guy wanting to fuck him

but the author loves minhyuk too much i guess since minhyuk is the korean beauty standard pretty buff cute top while taesung is like daddy mature older top. she refused to let go of minyuk so even though in the main story sooyoung and taesung already end up together, she made an AU as side stories for them to have threesome. technically it's happy ending for the main story, but the author refused to give wholesome side stories focusing on the main couple since she's obsessed with minhyuk

the smut is hot, it's toxic, the top is abusive towards the bottom, there's rape, and the art is pretty. generally for korean bl manhwas if you get these it will be popular lmao. the more rape and toxic it is, the more well rated it is, for some reason

jokes aside, it was interesting in the beginning. based on my memories taesung wasn't red from the very start. he's kinda like green-yellow and started to be red in the middle of the story. initially it was just two of them flirting while the taesung is doing mafia jobs. basically we were expecting this to go kinda like dangerous convenience store manhwa, but then the author decided to add minhyuk raping the uke in like season 2 or 3. that's when this became love triangle-ish. then taesung became abusive towards the uke and all. he basically did it bcs he likes the uke, but it was like a toxic love. this manhwa has great start, but shitty development.

I'm not against if people wanna read this, but in my personal opinion, the author became annoying at this point with how much she's forcing her obsession towards minhyuk to the readers. when she first tweeted the side stories gonna be 3p everyone hated it lmao. people were begging her not to do that and just give them happy side stories for the main couple instead. but the author ignored them and when she posted the next chapter for the side stories, she just disabled the comment. but you can see how mad people were in the quote tweets

no but they're not the type to say "im in love with you will you be my boyfriend". they show it more than say it but they're kind of basically in a relationship even if it isn't official, they sleep together, spend time together, take care of each other. they're more like the type who go "i got shot but let's fuck bc i'd rather die in your ass than anywhere else"

I think the closest you’re going to get to a confession is from chapter 57, where MC says “us” and ML is “that makes it sound special”.
