I swear Ruth is the only one making this torable and has brain. I thought she finaly gonna confessed when she got drunk but shit just end up with sex. They fuck more than they talk. I drop this while back then and forgot about it. When i saw the high rating i had faith in it that it would be good later but ffs it doesn't deserve it. The princess appearing is making this shit worst when their first problem didn't even take a single step yet to resolve.
Why did he never question on why she said that she never got any news about him wanting to bring her back to his fief. I hated how they brush it off and never questioned anything about her. The mage is the only one who tried listening and making conversation with her. I get that this is slow burn but theres no progress at all. She had the courage to somewhat try everything else except trying to talk with ML its stupid.
Everytime i thought it finaly gonna progress when they show a short flash back, the next scene it gonna be back to normal. When the mage told her how constant exposure to magic will cause the person to have good afinity with magic i thought gonna she will bring up about how she receives constant healing magic and making the mage question but nope nothing the scene just end with no progress again.

Apparently his brother love him and in the end he will die protecting dion the brother was pretending. Other than that the reason he was send to the war was because the duke? and the demon king make a bet if he would have survive or not and he did that led to the demon king winning the bet. And when his parent heard him return from the war they were accepting their fate to whatever mc would do to them. The brother also never resent him for killing their parent. Basically he was lied his whole life and he no longer have anyone who truly love him. In the end both him and his brother got a huge amount of karma and both of them (i think if i have understand it correctly) their soul would have been destroy immediately but mc make a contract with death to take his brother karma by sacrificing his eyes and become blind he would end up working for Death to repay their sin without any memories of his pass.
If you read any spoiler saying how people are feeling complicated with demon king is because the emperor is using his human side while the demon king use his crazy side people got mad at the demon king but when the mc becomes too stress out after finding the truth his personality combine and the demon king was the one who took care of his mental health and everything. But he will get his revenge on everyone including the duke and demon king.
Theres also an arc about how he will completely betray the human empire but i dont understand and know much to explain that part
