Why do people care so constantly about other people's opinions when it Dosent affect them. People worry to much about these types of things and it causes unnecessary stress, leading to anxiety and depression even to suicidal actions. If a worker was to speak badly about a boss that doesent pay much attention to them, either the boss would fire them or they wouldn't care, afterall they're the ones paying them not the other way around.

Fucking cliff hangers again

In my opinion I don't think Tess should force her feelings into him, afterall she's been doing that since she was younger. He has alot of things that he's gone through and he's trying his best to live the new life that he got. Tess has had it well and she acts very spoiled at times which probably makes Art see her as more of a little sister. She should know as his "friend" he has alot to deal with and she hasn't really provided much help. It's the grandpa that been helping him more than anyone else to get used to the concept of mana and such. I think it's Art's own way of letting her down softly because no matter how much you love a person one sided unrequited love ain't going to get you any where.
Homie could have just tore open a space and left even if it did cause suspicion it could be said that he left on an urgent message from his "master"
I was thinking on the space rift he could have used as well, lol. I'm certain the author forgot or had a reason why he didn't use that method of travel.
it was stupid, since using the space thingy, he'll expose his position and he'll be hunted down, since they already know his aura, he'll be hunted easily
Yeah, but they'd need to have some knowledge of space first plus he's mastered the space element pretty decently that I'm sure he'd go unexposed, but he never showed her that he could use it to tear space.
