After having a lot of ‘transported to another world‘ trope it’s nice to have something go off track even just a bit. I’m very curious with who placed the magic circle under the archmage before being reborn as the princess.

I see a lot of comments about Charti leading the 5th Prince and I agree that she is at fault but only partly. Remember how the misunderstanding between the crown prince and irene hasn’t been exposed to everyone in the series. As readers we know but the characters don’t lmao so I guess that’s where our frustrations are coming from.
When you look at it Charti’s also not in the clear here. To her there’s a lot of gray area with her relationship with the crown prince. Yeah he overtly shows her affection but to her and to everyone else HE IS IRENE’S LOVER. They’re a couple. So it’s clear how she can be reserved when it comes to giving up her feelings for him. I think that’s where Cailanden(?) comes into play.
1. He’s single.
2. He’s hella nice and charming; He’s sweet to Charti.
3. He also doesn’t know that there’s nothing between the crown prince and that bitch.
From the 5th Prince’s perspective, a woman like Charti even if she were a regina, with the higher chance of being empress, is someone whom he can have feelings for freely because again..they think bitchrene is with the crown prince.
So he doesn’t really have to be reserved with his feelings. Like why was said by bitchrene in the first few chapters he can have a relationship with Charti provided they ask permission from the Crown Prince.
The crown prince has his fingers tied here atm with that bitch irene and that bitch empress so unless he finds a trump card to counter those fucktards he can’t fully claim Charti as his own.

I agree with you. The prince is leading Charti on, Cai and Charti are just being friendly and considering romance. Its not strange for the emperor or empress to have lovers on the side considering tradition, and even if Charti is looking to be monogamous, she's looking for someone to make that commitment with
Right. At this point they’re both exploring the possibility of forming a bond. This is the palace we’re talking about and it’s rare to find someone with whom you can confide with. I’m not saying that i fully vouch for these two bcs I’m all in on my boy the crown prince to slam irene right on the face buuuuut to me the author did well with exploring other possibilities. It doesn’t hurt to do so. They have all the freedom in the world. They just need to sort out this huge mess of royal drama to set things clear once and for all.
But I do enjoy me some Cai time every now and thenヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

They finally got married. No side tracks anymore they finally tied the knot. Ugh they should’ve gotten married a few chapters back but still satisfied they ended up together.
Honestly though I feel like towards the end that the duke is giving more...or rather that he feels more for her than adele to the duke. Idk she felt like a total bitch from the part where she made herself hard to get she annoys the heck out of me now. The duke deserves someone who dotes on him honestly and I feel like adele lacks as much.
I agree, she love his money and power more than him. at least that how it feel now XD
