Buuuut let’s look at this objectively again from how the author is writing the plot shall we?Why? Bc I’m bored and it’s 31 degrees outside and I’m dying.
Now from the first chapters we saw what happened in the past right? And we can all agree that the prince and jieun are dickbags who should die a slow and painful death and what they did was irredeemable. Fast forward to the times when the FL would change her actions and how she behaves and interacts with her environment; this creates a ripple effect of done sorts. By changing her ways her surroundings, the people included also change. Notice her relationship with her father for example.
This also affected her relationship with the prince and how he came to view her. We saw it through how she responded to the fire etc. Now I’m NOT AND NEVER WILL JUSTIFY THE PRINCE’S ACTIONS (bc he deserves to die)....
BUT something that the FL realised, and is what I’m pretty sure one of the tools used by the author to help swing it to the ending we know, is the fact that this is a different time. She reverted back to before everything began. She was given a chance. She realised that she was so absorbed in the past that she risked ignoring what was infront of her which was he present.
It was even one of the things she thought of somewhere near the last few current chapters we have. She had that sort of aha moment where she’s all ‘I’m not gonna live by the past anymore and I’m gonna carve my own future I won’t let the pst weigh me down’.
Bc of this she found new strength and decided to move forward. It’s not easy to notice this POV bc it was subtle and the actions of the people from her previous life were far to grave but again I’m just trying to dissect the situation here and understand where this is all coming from and where it’s headed.

I tried lmao but I’m dropping this. 20 chapters in and it’s still confusing as fuck. I feel like the panels are all messed up and the translations don’t make sense sometimes. The conversations don’t go well together and there are instances where situations seem like they’re jumping onto the next.
