Like i kinda want takemichi to be the one who took on that role or i just want him to say that he's tired of everything and resets everything to the past 12 years and save everyone using dark methods like straight up killing kisaki by himself
honestly i've thought about that and it's such a good idea. He could become like an anti-hero or something, kind of like Eren from AOT. He gets all tired and gives up on everything and turns the tables onto them

If i remember correctly Because of that incident niannian got kidnapped instead of shen luon and thats niannians breaking point to which he kept screaming he wanted to divorce gu yansheng even going as far as to putting a knife to his own neck just so gu's mother would approve of the divorce and tell gu to sign it
Oh and niannian got kidnapped for 3 days he got beat up pretty badly and when he returned to the gu household he was bleeding
Adding to this they broke up cause of Shen Loaun and that Gu Yansheng or whatever his name is will suffer cause his dumbass brain but who cares right :))
