I on the other hand, was pitting her because it seemed like the emperor used her/keira to kill at the Ronan, in that flashback. Poor her when she cared for them.

It would have been memorable if it was turned into an anime and not just an OVA. The OVA also missed a lot of deets and felt rushed. Anyway, it's a good read. I just wished the side story is about their baby but all is well.
