Ngl they’re all to be blamed except for maybe the son, both parents were just selfish jerks who only thought for themselves and destroyed their kid in the process

The son had desires when he thought that was hus dad. But he never acted on it after he knew they weren't related

Also he’s just not a good guy to begin with since he had affair when he was already married

I feel like it’s more like he always craved the attention of a parent ( his dad in this case because his mom never bothered to care for him ), when he saw what his mom was doing to his dad as a CHILD, it must have deeply traumatised him because his mother was basically treating his dad like an object, like he wasn’t a living being. After years of being neglected, feeling lonely without the parent’s love he wanted so bad ( his dad’s ). When his dad provoked that accident basically killing his mother and could have killed him ( the son ) in the process, that’s when everything snapped for him. When he learned that his father wasn’t his biological one, it’s like everything that made them still have a relationship was gone. He thought that even though his father didn’t care about him, AT LEAST they were blood related and no one could sever their bound. After learning that they were not blood bound, he just crashed out. We can see that he’s mentally unstable ( psychotic pills ), years of neglect and traumatising childhood ( his mom abusing his dad ), his parents shaped him the way he is now and the only way he could maintain somewhat of a relationship with his dad was by treating him like an object, just like how his mom did

Sorry for the yapping session but this story was definitely very interesting from a psychological horror perspective
