the lister type of charcters are the worst kind. very abusive but always blames the victim for their abuse and outbursts. it makes me so uncomfortable how he always uses excuses to reduce his feelings of shame and guilt after he abuses the mc. they used to be friends years ago but from what i’m seeing, he always wanted to have power and control over mc, have him submit. lister immediately took his chance of overpowering mc when he became a slave and in a really fucked up way wants mc to need and depend on him. it feels that he feels ashamed for being attracted to him, like he tries to deny it and fails miserably ?
