i finally have the guts to watch the Umihe movie, so i'm coming back with to offer my tears and my heart out once again to this masterpiece. i love everything about it. the songs in the anime really add more to it as well, i can feel the love everyone poured into this series. even the lyrics make as much sense as the characters. it's just so perfect.
as some who's been grieving the love of my life for the past 9 years and will always be, bc they will always be in some place in my heart for as long as i live bc who i am now also shaped from losing them when they passed, i'm thankful for Mafuyu who's written very realistically. and i'm thankful for Uenoyama who actually understands how it is to love someone who's lost a big part of their heart from death. thank you for this story, i'll always cherish it

If you're not aware of it, one of the chaptera in volume 4 does show them grown up, Aoi in highschool and the other two in their twenties.
i always came back to that chapter in my free time.. the only thing i got from it is that I NEED MOOORE i wanna see Shii-chan with Daiki grown up as a pair too
