what do you mean?? wgat- what do you mean???? what do you mean so ines is predestined to be with carcel after all?? well okay but then why?? why should God persistently makes her repeat her lives till she's with carcel what's happening

The way I see it, it’s as if she has a destiny to meet, but she keeps getting sidetracked, which is why she’s doomed to repeat it until she’s on the correct path to said destiny. From spoilers…
The reason why she ended up repeating her life even though she was with Carcel in her very first life is because she died before her time. They had three kids together who all died and she died early as well. Presumably because of the villain in that first life: the crown prince’s current fiancée.

Anyone who dies outside their predestined death is given a second chance to live. There are four characters that this happened to in this story. It’s not only Ines. Anyone who commits suicide automatically regresses ten years and they retain their memories as punishment. There are two characters that experienced this. Characters are also given wishes and their wishes also impact their lives. So, it’s not like God is toying with Ines. Her decisions are also influencing the consequences she lives out.

i thought there's more to it between God and Ines, turns out that's just how it works in the story it is the first time i come across a storyline like this, how gut-wrenching. it's more than just regressing and repeating lives. i can't imagine how Ines gonna feel the more she realizes, i'd lose my mind if i was her thank you for the insight

Yes because even Oscar does outside his predestined death and got a second chance to live and was also allowed to make wishes. Ines is not the only one who got a second chance. Carcel always dies outside his predestined death in every life so far. Yet Carcel isn’t living through hell because he always make the right choices for himself. His destiny is Ines and he stuck to it throughout all lives. He also never married so he was never able to become a Duke. Just like women are expected to get married, men are also expected to get married.

It will be explained in Bilbao. However, some parts of it is in the story’s epilogue as well. Ines kind of already speculates on how suicide impacts her life. She’s committed suicide twice so she’s recognized the pattern that each time she regresses 10 years. She also realizes she cannot regress anymore since 6 - 10 =-4. She speculates she would no longer exist if she commits suicide again. That’s why she decided not to end her life when she woke up in this current life as a 6 year old.
Her goal then became to live safely and peacefully to the end of this life until she can die naturally without making any mistakes like in her previous two lives. That’s why she wanted to protect herself with marriage, giving birth to an heir then divorce. It was her way of gaining freedom to live alone enjoying her hunting and other hobbies as she quietly waits for death. However, she changed her mind after 6 months of marriage. Her goal now is to live as long as possible by Carcel’s side.

Nope...I didn't. I got to know this from reading various "spoiler comments"
But here's the link.

He does. He also died outside his predestined death in the true first timeline just like Ines and Carcel. He used his wishes for revenge so he asked Anastasio to let him retain his memories in the next life. Memories are very dangerous to have in this story as they are like a double-edged sword. This story definitely has memories more like a disrupter of destiny unlike other stories with regression.

IM SOBBINGGGG I HOPE THEY LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER TOGETHER..
also i can finally see that Ahin really takes after his dad's facial features, like +90% similarity with his dad fr, just in his mom's color scheme. i understand how both his grandfather and his mom often reminded of his dad when they saw Ahin's expressions. i'm sobbing even more
FINALLYYYYYYY GODDDDD the artist really did him justice, he's as gorgeous if not EVEN MORE gorgeous than i expected. Eruhaben really is the most handsome character as told many times in the novel that even the whale tribe can't compare. i can sleep with ease now knowing he's served cunt and left no crumbs
