He’s playing the victim card to get close to shin and push jake away so he can keep him to himself like how they were before when they were kids.
If you pay attention to chapters 34&35 you’d notice how they were talking about how they were in the past while also thinking it’d be a good move to zoom on in for a kiss.
It’s all on you if you fall for his bullshit or not.
I just hope he doesnt break Shin and Jake apart tbh
