A hijab does not stop you from kicking a ball. So I don't understand why people find it so restricting. I actually find this a little disrespectful. My friend has been wearing it ever since she was three years old even though parents didn't force her to. She actually likes wearing it because she can style it in different ways and it makes her look more beautiful.
When a person is a part of a religion such as Islam why do they chose not to follow it? Being unable to vote has nothing to do with the religion it's self rather the countries incorrect interpretation. Women are actually viewed highly in Islam because the first person to accept Islam was a woman, the person to die for Islam was a woman etc. As I stated before wearing a hijab does not hinder one's ability to something.

Bruv, I'm moslem myself lmao don't lecture me on illegal site.
It isn't and I understand how the story's depiction on a female muslim's experience with the hijab might disillusion some people. However, in this case, it was lightly implied that Salma had to wear hijab now that she's at a certain age and this causes her to think that it's restricting her from doing what she truly wants. Her religion isn't really restricting her but the society rather. This is all from Salma's point of view nonetheless.
Who are you kidding? We're seeing what's happening in Afghanistan and UAE Tia
So are those two the only muslim countries in the world. There many muslim countries in the world. Im just simply saying if one is a muslim they have to behave like one and if they can't then just leave the religion and live as they want.

This comic is meant to point out extremist views in some modern-day Middle Eastern countries, people have been "honor-killed" by their families for not wearing hijab and being too "promiscuous." it is not your religion that disrespects women, it is the people within it who misinterpret/twist your religion and turns it into something bad. I believe you have the choice to wear hijab, I know of and personally know many girls who do not.

the manga is mostly about girls who CAN'T leave their situation tho?? they're only 10 first of all, and most of the adults around them partake in keeping them locked in this situation. the fuck are they gonna do, just go up to their very religious and not-rich parents and demand them to let those girls immigrate to another country?

Then you should understand where I am coming from.
Wearing something because your like it is one thing and wearing it because you're forced and brainwashed is another thing.

A muslim's experience with the hijab may vary.
Brainwashed? Actually they are taught. If someone doesn't want to abide by the rules. They can simply leave. Noones stopping them.

With their lives at risk, they can leave
