This was such a letdown - the author definitely rushed the ending. Readers do not appreciate a “happy ending” with a nice neat bow if it doesn’t make sense how we got there. This started out with a lot of promise but the author wasn’t able to finish it out in the same way.
This series really gives a whole new meaning to “slow burn” but tbh it was worth it. I hope we get to see happier times in S3!

From what I remember, Tristan is a hunter who was raised by wren(the vampire in the most recent Patreon upload) but then Tristan’s uncle stole him back and taught him how to hunt. He met and fell in love with Ethan, who is half human half vampire, and was told my his uncle to kill Ethan or he’d be kicked out of the organization, Tristan chose to leave and he and Ethan made up. Tristan had to go off the grid for a couple years to keep Ethan safe, and they’ve only just recently been reunited
Think the author went through a sad family turbulence but it's really brave of them to get back up. And the story didn't weaver for even a second. They are on my favourite list just because of this now.
Ahhh Toma’s whole little hand holding Daiki’s pinky finger was like an arrow to the heart….so cute!!
It can’t be the end nooooo…I would have gladly read another season with them and their shenanigans. Love these characters so much - this story is worth re-reading for sure!!
