I think the manhwa could have explained it better but from what I understood, he wasn't physically able to leave the cave until his master deemed him "ready", like he wasn't physically able to climb to the top of the cave until he had mastered a minimum of techniques
But I completely agree that at first glance, it totally seemed like he could have gotten out at any point lmao

If you’re talking about the initiation I must say the ML too was forced to have sex with MC. ML clearly mentions that he can get the MC any information that MC wanted and kirin (MC) didn’t have to push himself if he didn’t want to.

And as for the second part before when they get into a relationship the MC already knows that he's putting his life at risk by being in a relationship with the ML because of his desire to kill. But he ignores it and proceeds to get into a relationship with him. And because he knows what he is he always assures him that he can leave whenever and he won't come after him.

So I answered yes, cuz I vaguely remember that MC was not always willing to do it with ML and ML kinda forced MC to do it with him. And if I'm not wrong ML also r@ped other people too right? No, I understand what you're saying. That's why I was letting you know that you were correct no rape occurred between the main characters at all and the ML never raped anyone. As far as SA goes the closest thing there was was when ML tried to kiss MC when he was mad at him but they were a couple by then.
