Can someone please, post a small summary of what’s happening? I can’t read this story anymore cause it makes me terribly depressed even though I think it’s great and unique. I still want to know what happened. A small summary will be greatly appreciated for the faint of heart!! Thank you!!

Generally saying, there were two major events.
1. Sangwoo and Bum are now officially dating, with both of them getting more and more insane everyday, sadly.
2. We had a glimpse at Sangwoo's past again. Turns out his mother was actually the one responsible for Sangwoo's dad's death. She also tried to kill Sangwoo, her own son, by putting rat poison in his meals. Sangwoo didn't feel safe in his own house, and that's why he has trust issues now.

And just as foretold... we are back to general yaoi cliché. All is right with the world.
A couple of chapters where Alex regrets. He will also meet old boyfriend who will explain that the whole thing was a misunderstanding and he only pretended to cheat cause Big Brother found out, allowing Alex to overcome trauma.
Meanwhile, DG will meet a gorgeous more-deserving hunk that will make Alex seethe with jealousy. Followed by an altercation between the three where Alex will confess his newfound love. DG will dump the obviously better guy and they will get back together.
** Also possible, but less probable...DG meets worst dude and is saved by Alex, ... then they get back together.**

Are you kidding? General yaoi cliche is uke being a pushover and easily forgiving seme for being an A hole. Plus, there's no misunderstanding with ex bf. That guy is just a douche. This is not cliche at all. DG has a backbone and is showing himself to be an emotionally healthy individual. He's not talking Alex back unless Alex works for it. This is RARE in manhwa/manga land.

You've read about emotionally healthy individuals "in most yaoi"?!?! LOL, I don't know what you are an otaku in but it is not BL. Couples may get back together but not in the way Emerald Princess described--that is where this title avoids cliche.
Nothing wrong with wanting a title to be even more different. I myself would have loved it if DG ended up with a different dude entirely. But we're at chapter 48 here. This is like watching My Hero Academia in season 3 and complaining that the teachers refusal to expel Deku and his rule breaking friends is a "cliche". It's shounen: there's nothing in the writing that suggested we would not be following Deku and friends in their ups and downs at the Academy. BJ Alex is BL: there's nothing in the writing (so far) to suggest that anyone but Alex and DG would be the main couple.

This story had so much potential. Hyensung had so many aspects to his character that could have been explored. His math skills, his family trauma, his past but Sensei didn’t develop him at all. He is still as immature and cowardly as in the first chapter. And I’m not talking about the baby. I am completely pro choice and he doesn’t have to be a mama if he doesn’t want to, but all this self pity and self destruction? Can’t he grow up a little? Can’t he develop a little through his experiences? It’s so disappointing!

I don't think this is a pro-choice vs pro-life thing anymore since the baby is already born. the responsible thing to do is be the best parent you can be since the child is already here.
but otherwise than that, I completely agree with you this manga had so much potential but the mangaka chooses to focus on cliche plot points like misunderstanding and miscommunication
Loved it but a little freaked out by the Hostage situation!! Even Mokyul didn’t imprison Jung and he was a gangster!! Yul is gorgeous and all but crazy psychos are a no no!!
To be honest....My pervert side loves this hostage trope orz....
