I knew anime existed but I didn't know yaoi was a thing when I was younger. I found it from porn sites originally and would constantly watch it, on the hunt to find more. Sadly yes but they were more of just online relationships though some did get cringe worthy intimate. Now this does seem "unbelievable" but ever since I was 12 to 13 I had gotten involved in a lot of online relationship.
